LinkUs Enterprises, a technology integration provider, is proud to announce their support for the 2012 Central Valley St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway. The annual event has become the single largest fundraising opportunity for the St. Jude Children’sResearchHospitalsince the first home was raffled in 1991.

St. Jude Children’s ResearchHospitalwas opened in 1962 by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas, who said, “No child should die in the dawn of life”. St. Jude’s mission is to find cures for catastrophic childhood diseases (with a strong focus on cancer) through research and treatment. The families of the children treated at St. Jude are not required to pay for treatment, but daily operating costs for St. Jude exceed $1.7 million dollars annually, an amount that is primarily covered by public contributions.

The LinkUs team recognizes the sacrifice and dedication inherent in the St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway and honors the critical services rendered by the St. Jude Children’sResearchHospitalon behalf of countless families with seriously ill children. To aid in this effort, LinkUs has donated products and services to this event, which to date has resulted in giving away over 220 homes and raising over $171 million in funds. The research and treatment advancements discovered by St. Jude Children’sResearchHospitaltoday will serve to save children struck by these catastrophic diseases in the future.

This May, De Young Properties began construction on the 2012 Central Valley St.Jude Dream HomeÒ to be given away to a lucky winner this November. The Groundbreaking Ceremony and De Young Miracle March included LinkUs and donor/builder De Young Properties, additional trade partners, and representatives from St. Jude Children’sResearchHospital. The 2,064 square foot home in the De Young Chestnut Grove community located at Chestnut and Teague in Fresno, will be offered as the first place prize to raise funds for St. Jude Children’sResearchHospital.
